We honour the spirit of the 1976 youth who demanded their rights and education be taken seriously. This month, the Western Cape Government Youth Forum launched its first Youth Exhibition at Artscape, focusing on inclusion. Featured are pieces from artists as young as nine, contributions from small communities, and submissions from the Pioneer School for the Visually Impaired.
Hear from contributors like Emma-Jo, a talented former Chrysalis student and community art facilitator. Before the interview, Jenine Turner from Chrysalis Academy will share more about the festival and its origins.
