Welcome to the Chrysalis Virtual Exhibition!

We are thrilled to launch our Exhibition during Youth Month and we are proud to present the work of young South Africans.  

This virtual exhibition commemorating 20 years of Chrysalis Academy, begins with selected albums documenting life in the three-month programme as well as showcasing photographs taken by students, graduates and staff. Included are photos from the Chrysalis Youth Month Photo Exhibition initially displayed at the Artscape Theatre in 2017 and photos from various Photo Clubs at Chrysalis. We also showcase Italian photographer Alessandro Iovino’s collection of photos detailing daily activities at Chrysalis Academy.

The virtual exhibition will be an on-going project for 2020, and new videos, artworks and essays will be added rendering it a living and growing virtual space that will be freely accessible to the public.
