YOUR CONTRIBUTION CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Funding/Support/Volunteering

There are various ways that you can support youth development and the work of the Academy:

• Unconditional donations
• Funding life or technical skills modules, i.e. the Child and Youth Care Worker training is an additional course during the skills phase, funded by the Department of Social Development
• Hire our facilities for your company’s staff team-building events and conferences – we can provide catering and team-building programmes,  if requested.
• Donate educational books and reading material for our Resource Centre
• Volunteer your time (between 19h00-20h00), for the after-hour programme, to teach and coach our students in any of the following cultural activities: dancing/drama/musical theatre/ street theatre/ poetry writing, arts and craft, etc.
• Volunteer your time to coach the students in any sporting code or game
• Donate a music instrument for our music room OR maintenance of music instruments OR teaching students to play an instrument.
• We currently have African drums, hand percussions, a keyboard, a 5-piece band kit, flutes, base and electric guitars, bugles and recorders
• Alternatively, select your own way of providing support to the Academy’s youth development programme.
